Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) is seen as the next frontier in cannabinoid-based therapy. As a safe and effective addition to your Hemp Oil regimen, this cannabinoid has shown tremendous potential in treating a variety of conditions including inflammation, anxiety, nausea and vomiting, epilepsy, cancer, and depression. Like all cannabinoids, CBDA affects the communication of cell response signals, which can lead to a host of beneficial effects on the mind and body. Consuming Cannabidiolic acid could lead to a more efficient endocannabinoid system, with the benefit of overall improved health.

WHAT IS CBDA – Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) is a little-known cannabinoid with major therapeutic potential. When the acidic form is decarboxylated, CBDA transforms to CBD, one of the active ingredients in CBD Hemp Oil products. It was previously thought that cannabinoids such as CBDA aren’t considered pharmacologically active until they’ve been decarboxylated, or heated. When heated, cannabinoids undergo a change in molecular structure. In terms of its chemical composition, the process removes one acidic carboxyl group from its molecular chain and transforms from CBDA to CBD.

Although the massive benefits of consuming CBDA were known in the Hemp Oil industry, the key has been making the CBDA bioavailable. New research has discovered that it is not necessary to decarboxylate the oil to receive results. When CBDA is mixed with decarboxylated oil (CBD) we can “unlock” the potency of the CBDA and super-charge the effect of the CBD oil. CBDA has been shown to have an affinity that is 100x higher than CBD at certain receptors in our body, and is better absorbed by our bodies with greater capacity to attach to important receptors.

HOW CAN CBDA + CBD BENEFIT ME?

If you have tried CBD protocols before but didn’t get the results you were hoping for, then we highly recommend trying our new CBDA + CBD blend of our “Kentucky Blue” Oil.

Here are some of the conditions that have been helped with CBDA + CBD oil:

Inflammation

CBDA’s role as a COX-2 inhibitor makes it more than a cancer-fighter; it also makes it an excellent anti-inflammatory. COX-2 is the enzyme targeted by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin. Researchers found that CBDA not only blocks this enzyme; it does it even better than THC.

Depression & Anxiety

A growing body of research shows products with CBDA can help improve the amount of serotonin activity in the brain, which helps to moderate emotions and balance people’s moods. CBDA has also been shown to have 100 times the serotonin receptor (5-HT) affinity compared to processed CBD.

Cancer

In addition to preventing growth, one study found that Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) can prevent breast cancer cells from migrating, meaning that it limits the disease’s opportunity to metastasize to other parts of the body.

Epilepsy

CBDA may work for epilepsy at lower doses than CBD and show that CBDA may take effect faster while CBD provides longer-lasting effects.

Nausea & Vomiting

The same receptors that control anxiety and well-being also regulate feelings of nausea, as well as vomiting. Like CBD, CBDA interacts with these receptors to calm queasy feelings. In fact, the research suggests that when it comes to choosing THC vs CBDA for this purpose, CBDA is more effective than THC.
